I originally contacted Ryan at Mad Sails to build sails for the Megabyte Class. As the class president it was important to bring a sailmaker on board that would provide a good product, consistent quality and excellent customer service. From my initial contact with Mad Sails through post-delivery follow-up, the experience was nothing short of fantastic.
The new sails increased performance and were quick to dial in that “groove” in all types of air. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism, and the quality, value and performance of the sails made for the Megabytes. The sails were perfect right out of the bag.

Later, as a new sailor to the Flying Scot Class, it became clear that Mad’s are the standard. Look at any regatta photo and you will see a plethora of Mad Sail logos.
Not only has Ryan and Stacey been great to sail with and fun to have on my boat, but as a competitor they have shown that they are a class act in boat speed, astacticians and as individuals I am proud to call friends.
